Carelss DrivingCareless Driving carries with it the potential for very serious penalties. The police officer in this case accused our client of driving erratically as a direct result of marijuana use. The defendant did not give evidence at his trial. The prosecutor’s case appeared overwhelming at first but soon went up in smoke. An effective cross examination of the investigating officer caused his evidence to be viewed in a different light at the conclusion of the trial. The defendant was acquitted.
